Dr. Bach tells us that Chestnut Bud is indicated when there is failure to learn from past mistakes, which leads to an inability to progess in life. Instead of learning from past mistakes the person tries to forget them, and therefore have little basis upon which to make future decisions. They may suffer from recurring ailments such as colds, migraines or indigestion.

Meditation with the Deva of Chestnut Bud

Beloved Friends,

The flower this week is the Chestnut bud - not quite a flower yet, but full of the beautiful potential of the Chestnut blossom. The Chestnut Trees, the white and red flowered trees, play an important role in the Bach Flower Remedies.

The Chestnut Bud came in while I was talking with a friend and I knew instantly it was the Flower for this week. It has been 'talking' to me since, and I am continually amazed, although I shouldn't be anymore, at the profound wisdom that comes from the Devic Kingdom. I was aware of the Deva of the Chestnut traveling with me all week, and showing me its medicine.

What this plant showed me was that it holds the medicine to assist us in beginning a new cycle. It holds the blueprints of new patterns that assist our enlightenment and growth -  Divine patterns of nurturance and support that can replace those old patterns of bondage that we carry within. These old patterns are truly becoming more and more visible to us all as we journey along this Magical Path.

The area that the Chestnut Deva illuminated for me was the area of separation, among those of us who are on the Spiritual Path of awakening. She showed me how so many of us have engaged, lifetime after lifetime on earth, and written all sorts of life stories together. I saw how we all came in as vibrant Souls full of purpose and unified Love. And I saw how over time we allowed ourselves to become separate, to create exclusive paths of 'truth', to indulge in betrayals, to measure our own 'truth' by making another's 'truth' less than. It became really clear to me that we have all come back together, because the time is Now, and that we have all come back still carrying the multi-various stories of our Earthwalk.

Think for a moment of all those you have encountered since you consciously began your 'waking up process', those who are also on the spiritual path. For a moment allow yourself to review your thoughts and feelings, perhaps the relationships that were vital and then became dim. Many of us have gone through the 'initiation' of being excluded from certain groups. Sometimes we belong to a certain grouping of Souls and all of a sudden we get the urge to change and to move on. Sometimes we go through long periods where we have contact only with a few really close friends. Sometimes it is simply time for a certain group to disband. Sometimes it is appropriate to have a period of solitude and silence.

Throughout all of these weavings we have had many thoughts - and feelings - of being betrayed, deserted, misunderstood. Some may have the feeling that the group they belong to is 'more advanced' than others. Some may have the perception that they are being excluded. These experiences may be very painful and take months to work through to some understanding and acceptance.

We have called ourselves back into wakefulness. Part of that journey is re-meeting those who have 'injured' us, or those whom we may have 'injured'. We may experience very strong, and sometimes inexplicable feelings of dislike for someone, without even knowing them.

The Deva of the Chestnut holds the medicine for us to step into the bigger picture - to realize fully, not just in our minds, but with our full hearts, that all whom we engage with bring us a truth about ourselves. Together we hold the Full Truth. She calls us to acceptance of change. She asks us to bless our close friends if they up and leave. She asks us to let each other go freely. Most of all she asks us not to measure our own truth by belittling another's truth. The way we speak of each other is all important,  because our words paint pictures, energetic imprints that translate to the listener.  We must PAY ATTENTION to the energy in our words. It is not the words themselves that have the power,  but the energy we imbue into the words.

The Deva of the Chestnut repeated to me through the week - by seeing the greatness, the Divinity in others, you allow yourself to BE the Divinity within You.

We are all doing our very best. I am sure about that. We are all in the correct place, time and company to get to the next step. A wise 18 year old described life as a series of stepping stones. Each choice we make determines the direction of the rest of the journey. When we consciously intent to 'get there' to 'do the work we are here to do' the next stepping stone appears before us.

We are being called to live entirely in the Present, to be new in each moment, to stay open and vulnerable and trusting, and to extent encouragement and LOVE to our fellow travelers, even if in that moment a past life is recalling itself with its pain and confusion. This is the time of the Great Healing.

By taking the medicine of the Chestnut Bud, we are Divinely assisted to break free from the repeating patterns of past behavior and to step freely and joyfully onto the next stepping stone in trust and love. We allow the greatness that we are to birth, by allowing the greatness in all those we meet to birth. We witness our own journey by witnessing others in Love. To enter the unified field of Love we must be willing to Love, without reason, without conditions, without rewards, without recognition, without acceptance, without encouragement. To enter the unified field of Love we must become that field of LOVE.

Perhaps, if we feel inclined, we can all take an opportunity here, to bless and set free, all those whom we have encountered in this lifetime and others, that we have held in bondage through our thoughts and needs, and we can consciously spread out the unified field of Divine Love, like the glorious tapestry that it is, to include ALL of US. This is the way home, the Shining Path of the Sidhe, the Pollen Path of the Native Americans, the Path of Bliss to the Mystics.
