Chicory
- unconditional giving, unconditional receiving
Chicory (Cichorium intybus)
We are redefining our parameters. This is not always an easy task! The Deva of Chicory carries the energy of unconditional giving and unconditional receiving. We must receive to be able to give. We are intrinsically part of the Sacred Hoop of all life. We are all connected. We are all connected to Source - that is why we have life. What we are doing now is becoming conscious of the connection and the part that we play in that connection. We are co-creators. Chicory asks us to open our hearts, not just 'at the front for giving' but to open the back of our hearts 'to receive for giving'. If we give without the consciousness of receiving from Source then we come up with limited concepts and 'realities' such as that there is a limited supply, that in order to give we need to know what we will receive in exchange. Our whole monetary system, which is an outer reflection of how we 'do energy' is based on measuring what we give and registering what we receive in exchange.
The Chicory flower, which belongs to the Sunflower family, holds the inner wisdom to
follow the sun, and turns its beautiful blue head during the day to face the energy of the Sun.
It calls us to do the same. We can place an energetic blue flower of Chicory at the back of our
Hearts and open to the Sun of Source. The Chicory also does not open on a cloudy day. It has the choice. If we are in a place where the light of the sun
is not apparent to us, we can close our flower and conserve the energy. This is the law of balancing. The way of Truth and freedom is to enter into the Sacred Hoop of supply. We give with no thought of receiving back from where we give to, because we know that we are constantly in a state of receiving from Source. We do not just receive energy, we receive the pure energy of Source which is unconditional life supporting Love. That energy travels through our systems, our concepts, our bodies, and is filtered into whatever we make it into. We are the co-creators. The power from Source is truly powerful. We are in school here on Earth, learning the effects of our own creations, through the Cosmic Law of Cause and Effect. When we have mastered our own creations we graduate to higher and higher forms of creation. We have heard that we are training to be the new Elohim, the Creator Gods. What we are also remembering is that we are, beyond the veils of Earthly creations, co-creators with those Gods. The veils are dissolving and we are remembering why we came here, where we came from and what it is we are accomplishing through this journey. We are perfecting the art of creation, through the balancing of seemingly opposing powers. We have submerged ourselves into the illusion of separation and polarity, so that we can unite those powers within our own bodies and use the energy of the union to create new worlds, new realities.
There is a legend that says a beautiful young blue eyed lady stood by the roadside and waited for the return of her lover and as she stood she cried. She waited until she died and he never returned. Some say the Chicory is the Blue eyed lady. All of our 'symptoms' are reactions to pain and perceived separation. We have truly built a powerful illusion. What we are doing now is freeing ourselves from our own creation of separation and pain.
Chicory is traditionally for the person who measures love, who attempts to possess people, a person who needs lots of attention and manipulates energy in order to receive that attention. We can see easily how these reactions can be rooted in the fear of loss. Olive indicates our giving, giving, giving, without opening to receiving. Chicory indicates taking, taking, taking, without the balance of giving. It indicates a person who holds the belief, conscious or otherwise that the supply of energy is on the outside and must be taken to be received. The Devas are calling us away from defining their medicine through the identification of the symptoms - and rather to focus on the goal we wish to achieve. Our energy follows are attention. The information that Dr. Bach supplied is highly refined and particular. In no way do I see the information in my weekly writings replacing that information. The Devas are very clear about that when I am listening to them. However, they are also clear that we are needing to move away from defining our energies according to our symptoms. If we are fixing our attention on the symptoms we will hold them to us. That is why through these writings I am focusing on the goal rather than on the symptom. Information on the traditional use is readily available. Here is one place where the traditional uses are listed - www.nelsonbach.com.
The Deva of Chicory assists us in restructuring our limitations about any 'need' of energy we may have - inviting us to open to the eternal Source of all energy - and specifically to open the back of our hearts so that our Hearts become gateways through which the never ending supply of the Cosmos enters the Earthly realms through our Being here - we do not need to measure our giving, when we are open to receiving. We thusly consciously become aware once more that we ARE the Sacred Hoop of Life, without beginning or end.
"It is in giving that we receive And in dying that we are born to Eternal Life." Francis of Assisi.
