Dr. Bach tell us that Clematis is indicated when a person lives in their own world with no interest in the real world. These people can be pre-occupied and dreamy. They are not really happy, yearning for fulfillment, but not actively engaged in getting anywhere. They have a poor memory and fall asleep easily. They tend to lack energy and appear listless and apathetic. They may have mediumistic or psychic tendencies, but since they are not well grounded they are in danger of picking up negative energies. Clematis may be indicated for children who have difficulty in concentrating, not because of a lack of ability, but because of a strong tendency to daydream.
Meditation with the Deva of Clematis The Clematis is a 'climbing' plant and yet it does not 'take a hold' as it climbs. It needs to be supported. To me this represents our dreams - they have all the potential to climb right out of the world of limitation and restriction - and yet to do so WE must be the support - we must offer our bodies for the dream to climb up along - and to burst into flower all along the way. Allowing our dreams to flower opens our beings to the Nectar therein - and we become attractive to the bees - on many planes of being - as they come in their business to fill their little nectar bags and fly home to make honey! Way back in 1983 when I first met my artist husband I remember one day in particular - walking to work with him along a river, in winter, when the land of Bavaria was in deep snow. I asked him - "teach me how to see like you do" - and he paused and looked at the snowy scene around us - "look there" he said and my eyes were brought to where the sunlight met the shadow on a nearby tree. "Notice where the light meets the shadow, now see the different shades within the shadow." I found my eyes becoming keener and seeing details I had never noticed before - "now look at the light and see the colors in the light." I never forgot those moments because I was open to really doing something I had always been doing, differently. I knew from his paintings that he 'saw' differently than I did - and I knew I could 'see' like that. Seeing into the land of our dreams requires the same attention. Just like seeing more clearly into the earthly realms, it is a matter of paying attention to more details. Close your eyes and RELAX.. Do not focus on what your physical eyes are seeing on the inside of your eyelids. Open to seeing with your inner eye. "When your eye is single your whole body will be filled with light'. It is through the Eye of the Soul that we see the inner glory and slowly the bridge is built between the inner and the outer vision, so that in a moment you may see a tiny bird land on your apple tree and as it sings to you, you will SEE the Sacred Geometries of Sound coming from her little beak. We are all crafted Divinely, we have all the inner and outer senses necessary - it is so much about slowing down and taking the time to pay attention to what is right there within us. The medicine of the Clematis elevates our inner sight, and quickens the ability within us to change channels from the 'mundane' to the Cosmic levels of perception. This beautiful flower also carries the medicine of the Dream Weaver. We are ALL the Weavers of the Great Dream. Everyone of us has a thread, or perhaps a whole pouch of Sacred Threads - and we are all embroidering the same Cosmic Tapestry. All we have to do is listen, receive and then ACT upon that which we receive. Clematis carries the activations for us to find our thread, and to follow the specific guidance to fulfill OUR part of the Great Dream. Áine - M.A, Ms. D. Please feel free to share this writing.
