Sacred Journey to Ireland 2008

Emerald Flame – Heart of Eriú

The Return

1 Oct – 12 Oct

Eriú is the ancient name for Ireland, after the Goddess Eriú. When the Gaels came to Ireland led by their Druid Priest/Poet Amergin, Eriú made him promise that Ireland would always carry her name. The word Erin comes from this and is the Irish word for Ireland to this day.

Under the Emerald Mantle of this Ancient Goddess – Mother Ireland – we will journey together. The journey will be deep, and the activations from the land will be life changing. There will be many initiations along the way as we visit and merge with the energies of the most ancient of sites. This journey is entirely under the guidance and direction of the Council of the Celtic Fire – the Beings of Light from the Tuatha De Danann – an Ancient and Living Council of Sacred Ireland.

While I was in Ireland in May I visited the Rock of the Cailleach on the farthest point of the Beara Pennisula. This Rock is connected deeply with Eriú in her many guises as the beloved Goddesses some of us are now very familiar with – Brigid, Medb, Macha, Aine, Danu. We will be working with a ley that runs from this rock to the Hill of the Cailleach at Loughcrew Co. Meath. I did Ritual at the Rock and carried the energies to Lough Gur where our journey will begin. This ley when activated will charge the area of Tara, which is in great need of healing. The healing of Tara is a central focus of the journey.

We will begin in Shannon over-nighting there to recover from the flight. We will then travel to Lough Gur just south of Limerick, a truly enchanted lake. Our work will begin in one of the largest Stone Circles in Ireland. We will anchor in the energies from the Rock of the Cailleach and receive and charge the energies we will continue to carry to Co. Meath. The following day we will visit Cnoc Áine. In Ancient Ireland there were five Royal seats of energy, one in each of the four provinces and one at the centre of the island. The South West royal seat for the province of Munster was on Cnoc Áine. It is now a hill that is privately owned, sectioned into many fields and full of cattle. Lough Gur,  Áine’s enchanted lake, is truly a magical place. We will spend a full day here, wandering around the hill that borders the lake, Knockfennel. There is an entrance to the otherworld through the Red Cellar, which is now completely overgrown. The large stone circle in Ireland known as Ranach Croim Dubh, is near the lake in the townland known as the Grange. Again we will spend some of the day there, and visit a very special stone known as the Stone of the Tree

Our next stop will be the Hill of Tara. We will stay at an active monastery in the area, in Spartan rooms. One morning will be spent on the Hill working with the leys across the wound where the highway is being built. The afternoon will be spent at Four Knocks one of the largest passage wombs in Ireland. Here I encountered 22 virgins. They are aligned with the constellation of Cassiopeia. We will do deep ritual and attunement here, and also have one hour of silent meditation in candle light. We will then visit Skryne, a quietly powerful ruined church where St. Columba is believed to be buried. We will connect in with the line that runs to Iona and do work with re-estabishing the ancient highway of light information that ran between Brugh na Bóinne and Iona, both being schools of learning for the Arcane Wisdom.

One day will be entirely for the Hill of the Cailleach at Loughcrew. We will have been gathering the energies of Eriú and the Emerald Flame and working with and charging the ley that runs between this centre and the Rock of the Cailleach on the Beara Pennisula. Together as a group we will carry the energies in our Heart to this centre and charge the entire area of Brugh na Bóinne with the Emerald Heart Light of Mother Ireland.

Our journey is directed to end at the Heart of Ireland. The Heart of Ireland encompasses the Hill of Uisneach (female chambers of Heart) and Clonmacnoise (male chambers of Heart). We are truly blessed to be invited as a group to stay at the centre known as Ard na Rí (the Height of the Kings). This centre has been built by Dr. Eric Dilworth. He has created a truly sacred centre near the head waters of the Shannon. Our stay there will be for four days. During that time we will visit the Hill of Uisneach, the ancient Fire Hill at the centre of Ireland, as Cnoc Áine is the ancient Fire Hill of Munster. We will open and fire the line between these two Hills. Eric has built the five Platonic solids in wood big enough to enter and meditate within. There is a beautiful labyrinth. And there are the ancient ruins to the old monasteries adjacent to his centre. It was at Clonmacnoise that I saw the vision of the monk which became my graphic of the Emerald Flame that is now on the cover of my novel. Words cannot express the magic of this living centre. While visiting there I felt that awakening Ireland was ‘safe’ with this magical centre now open and working at the Heart of the country.

Ireland is going through many birth pangs. Her recent wealth has activated many wonders and many tests for the Irish people. The marvel is that there is a wave of consciousness now awakening that supports the ancient ways, natural healing, protection of the land and a love of the Irish language. All of this is ‘caused’ by the recent changes. There is good in all things. Even the building of the highway through Tara has had the benefit of people from all over the world gathering and expressing and sharing, and many fruits are coming from all of this.

This journey will be truly sacred. The invitation is for those consciously working towards Sovereignty of being to participate. We will need to be cohesive as a group and willing to work together. Accommodation will vary and the comfort levels will perhaps not be exactly what you are familiar with in the States. I am choosing places that will immerse us into the energies of the land and the people. There would be little value on such a journey in staying in international hotels, and with the Euro so much higher in value than the dollar the costs would be exorbitant.

So, come only if you are willing to surrender and to flow and to be part of a Sacred Group Intent. Ask in your Heart if you are needed on this journey. This is important work but it will also be lighthearted and very joyful. The land of Ireland is truly a magical land and Mother Ireland will embrace you wholeheartedly in this blessed work within her Faerie Kingdom.

What to bring –

Rain clothes. Make sure you are waterproofed from head to toe. Have good, water-proofed hiking boots.

A medicine pouch, in which you carry your offerings to the land. There will be many opportunities to gather medicine along the way. Suggested offerings, crystals, corn, hazel nuts, dried lavender and other herbs, sea shells, feathers, beads, sacred oils and essences.

Warm clothes in layers. The weather can be very changeable. Have a light sweater and a heavy sweater.

An adaptor for 220 electricity if you intend to bring electric appliances that need rechaging.

Natural insect repellant if you are concerned about ticks and other little biting friends! I believe we can work with these creatures of the Mother in harmony, but if you need to feel safe please do bring repellant.

Best to buy a phone card in the Airport when you arrive if your cell phone will not do long distance. T-Mobile phones bought in the States seem to work very well from Europe.

A Visa ATM card, the easiest way to have cash in Ireland, which you may need if Credit Cards are not accepted somewhere.

*******************************

If you have not taken a Celtic Fire workshop I ask that you take
the basic mentoring course on the phone, or attend a workshop
before the Ireland Journey. This is so that you will have
the basic teachings of the Faerie Ring and an introduction to
energies we will be working with. The usual cost of the mentoring is
$101. If you are traveling to Ireland I offer this at $88 for an
hour and a half.
