The
Journey
18 - 21 September; visit to the Skelligs
22 - 30 September; main workshop in Sligo
Celtic Fire Spirit Art - Clonmacnoise
Powerful whispers are calling to Celtic Fire and Faerie very clearly -
to bring those of the old lineage to the island. The reason for that journey
is multifold. There is specific work to be done with the Land, huge downloads
to be received, and soul fragments to be recalled for many. I scouted
for this journey while I was there this Spring. Those days in Sligo were
the only sunny days in three weeks. The sun was strong and illuminated
the countryside. Ireland is magical beyond belief and since it is my homeland
it awakens me in ways I cannot even begin to express. We are being called
to Co. Sligo. This is the stronghold of the Tuatha de Danann. It is where
the ancient battle of Moytura was held. Although Moytura is not on the
map, I was led there one afternoon. We will go there, and sit beneath
an ancient dolmen and sing. (See below. The Spirit Ancestors allowed themselves
to be seen!) The dolmens are the ancient singing stones, aligned with
the song-lines of Earth and the dolphin energies of the oceans. We will
also visit Carrowkeel http://carrowkeel.com/-
a truly powerful and transforming mountain. Here we will enter into the
belly of the mountain, beneath the cairns. I believe these 'passage tombs'
to be major portals of the Tuatha and there awaits a great blessing there
for those who enter. On that day Martin, a local guide will accompany
us and he has promised to play his fiddle inside the mountain, while we
gather. We will visit Carrowmore, which will be the site of great healing.

We are being called to assist in re-aligning this site with the original
blueprint. This will be a major focus. We will also visit one of the most
magical Faery Glens on the shoulder of Knocknaree, the mountain of Queen
Medb.
Our accomodation will be at Ardtarmon House. http://www.ardtarmon.com/
This is a hundred year old family house and estate. The self catering
cottages are converted from the original houses on the grounds. They are
simple and clean and warm. (2 star). As people sign up you will have a
choice of the rooms available in the cottages. All meals except a welcome
and farewell dinner at the big house, will be self catered by you. Last
year this worked very well, and the cooking of the evening meal was a
social gathering. I know the group will be creative about this.
The cost is - $1,645. Costs are based on sharing a room. There is a $60
single supplement for the cottages, and a $80 single supplement for the
hotel in Shannon. All the rooms at the cottages are individual in character.
They are all simple rooms. Choice will be according to availability.
The cost of $1,645 includes -
A night at Shannon airport upon arrival and departure.
Transport to and from the airport to Sligo.
Our own private coach.
The cost of accommodation at Ardtarmon.
The cost of the workshop intensive.
A welcome dinner and a farewell dinner at the big house.
Entrance to the various sites we will visit.
The cost of our guide and of our driver.
This does not include the cost of getting to Shannon airport from whereever
you start from. Food will also be bought by you. We will make two supermarket
stops as a group, in Sligo town, upon arrival and mid-week. There is a
small local store for the very basics.
A deposit of $300 is necessary to secure your place and this will be non-refundable.
I would ask that the deposit be paid as soon as possible and no later
than the 1st June, 2006.
Please consider buying travel insurance. You will be insured while traveling
in the coach, otherwise I, Aine Armour and Celtic Fire and Faerie take
no responsibility for any damages, loses or injuries to anyone participating
in the journey.
The dates of the visit are now set for the 22rd to the 30th September
2006.
When you commit to the journey through the placement of your deposit you
will receive more details.
The Skelligs

I have mentioned that there is work to be completed on the Skelligs Islands.
I will go there before the workshop. If you are interested in this part
of the work please let me know. It would involve arriving in Shannon on
the 18 Sept. instead of the 22nd. There will be additional costs for this
part of the journey. The cost will depend on the number participating.
It will be approx. $500 excluding food.
The cost will include a night upon arrival in Shannon airport
Three nights bed and breakfast.
